Speaking of claiming things as my own, here's a question that came to mind:

If you see an item that fits you perfectly, would you put it on hold or would you buy it without doubt?

I would buy it. Without doubt.

What's the point of putting it on hold? If it REALLY fits you perfectly, even if you let it sit there for another 10 days, it's still gonna be the same - fit you perfectly. On the contrary, in those 10 days, someone else might have bought it.

But really, if you buy it, and in a few months time, it doesn't fit anymore (because you're greedy and ate a lot and put on lotsa weight), at least you can give it to goodwill and someone else can have it.

Seriously! The only reason for someone to put something on hold and not buy it, is if they are unsure of the item. If they think they can get it at a better price elsewhere. If they think there are other patterns around. If they think that it's not the perfect fit. So stop telling the item it's the perfect fit because it isn't.

If you are an item on hold, do you think you'll be happy to know that this potential buyer doesn't like you enough to want to buy you on the spot?! Advocating for sad items on hold. :( Giving items on hold a voice.

But really, you don't have to explain yourself. I'm just sayin'.
