on another note, I went for this talk about applying to universities,and talked to a few people about it too. (:
don't expect to understand anything from here on.
Apparently people are telling me to forget about Queen's University because they are looking for people with lotsa extracurricular activities and a 90% or 95% (people are not sure)and above average. But the viewbook clearly says a much lower mark (apparently they said that's a lie).
And as for McMaster, well, people are saying "why do you wanna go to an industrial area? it's so fugly". McMaster's viewbook clearly says they want a 90%++ average for health sciences, but people are saying "NO WAY"! (meaning it's not true.)
No one so far wants to go to uOttawa. Ottawa is the capital of Canada. Maybe it'd be fun! (:
U of T still hasn't gained my "I WANT TO GET IN THERE" kinda respect although EVERYONE wants to get in. x) [U of T is downtown (:]
I'm still boggled. listen to people (who have spoken to others) or just trust the viewbook?
Not just that, but what am i going to study? It's finally time to apply to universities, but what am i going to do?
Which programme should I apply for? Do i really want to do health science? what about life sciences? Or nursing?
Questions without answers. :s
...Maybe it's time to stop focusing on the past and present.
